LP2M STIE Widya Wiwaha Yogyakarta Signs Contract with Lecturers Awarded Research and Community Service Grant for Fiscal Year 2025

Yogyakarta, July 2, 2025 — The Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Widya Wiwaha Yogyakarta has officially signed a contract with lecturers who received funding for Research and Community Service Grants for the 2025 Fiscal Year. The grants are funded by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM), Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Ditjen Risbang Kemdiktisaintek).

These Research and Community Service Grants are part of a national strategy to enhance the quality of research and the tangible contributions of higher education institutions, including private universities. Lecturers at STIE Widya Wiwaha will carry out programs focused on addressing community issues, particularly in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship, and the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

This achievement reflects recognition of the academic quality of STIE Widya Wiwaha's faculty. Although the majority of teaching staff hold Master’s degrees (S2), they have demonstrated performance comparable to doctoral-level faculty in terms of research methodology, depth of analysis, and the ability to implement community service programs.

Participation in this program is expected to strengthen the culture of research and innovation within the campus, expand inter-institutional networks, and encourage cross-sector collaboration. Moreover, through community service activities, research findings are also directed to be implemented directly in society, thus making a real impact amid ongoing economic changes.

STIE Widya Wiwaha has reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support the academic capacity building of its faculty members and ensure that every research outcome contributes positively to community development.
